New multifunctional ice complex HALYK ARENA was built for the Universiade-2017. The facility provides for the possibility of the transformation of the ice coating in the area for no-winter sports and cultural events. Its grandstands accommodate the 3 000 people. This arena was created for development of the children, youth and amateur sports in Kazakhstan.
